The clean cooking sector is a growing sector in Ghana and the need to build capacity of members to attract investment is key to enhancing a robust and thriving sector. With the objective to meet the 2-5million households with clean cooking solutions by 2030, the time is now to catalyze the sector
One key funding need is to strengthen the capacity of GHACCO as a coordinating body to have the right funding to sustain its secretariat to facilitate the operations of coordinating a robust clean cooking sector in Ghana
Others include supporting clean cooking manufacturers with the requisite investment finance to increase production to meet the targets we anticipate
Other include catalyzing the market through awareness creation campaigns, market development facilitation, behavioural change communication and projects that address energy access, climate change, deforestation, sustainable businesses and health and gender initiatives.
